What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve a piece before it is produced.
At IFTIIN, each bronze jewel is handcrafted in Senegal, in small series: pre-ordering guarantees that your piece will be created especially for you .

Why operate on a pre-order basis?

Pre-ordering allows us to:

  • to respect a pace of artisanal production,

  • to avoid overproduction,

  • to maintain the quality of the technique and the know-how,

  • and to offer you unique pieces, made to order.

Are pre-orders still available?

No.
Pre-orders are only open for certain items or at certain times.
We sometimes have stock, but always in very limited quantities , because our jewelry is made in small batches.
When stock is available, you can order immediately — until it runs out before switching to a pre-order system.

What are the deadlines?

The current manufacturing lead time is 4 to 5 weeks .
Each piece of jewelry is handmade: this time guarantees the quality, the finishes and the complete drying of the metal.

This waiting time also corresponds to the grouping of orders in order to reduce transport between Senegal and France.

This allows us to:

  • to limit the carbon footprint,

  • to avoid unnecessary shipments,

  • and to maintain reasonable shipping costs.

When will I receive my order?

As soon as your piece is finished, your order is shipped from France.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Can I pre-order multiple models?

Yes.
If your order contains multiple pre-ordered items, they will be shipped together once they are all manufactured.

How can I tell if an item is on pre-order or in stock?

The mention “Pre-order” or “In stock — limited quantity” appears directly on the product page as well as in your shopping cart.
The estimated delivery time is always indicated before validation.

Can I offer a pre-order?

Yes.
You will receive an email confirming the estimated sending date, ideal if you wish to inform the person of the delay.

Are pre-ordered parts different from parts in stock?

The quality, the finishes and the know-how are the same.
The difference is that:

  • The parts in stock are available immediately.

  • Pre-ordered items are made especially for you and require a creation time.
